Thursday May 20th and 27th from 6:30-9:30 at the UrBaN aRt Co-Op Building in Collinsville.

This workshop will focus on using a Digital SLR (single lens reflex) camera in the Creative Shooting Modes (Shutter Priority, Aperture Priority, and Manual). Students will learn how to use camera functions and properly expose an image. If you own a Digital SLR and are interested in learning more about how to use your camera to get the images that you want, then this IS the Workshop For You!

Intermediate Digital Photography

Saturday March 6, 9am-3:30pm, UrBaN aRt Co-Op, Collinsville, IL $100

The class will teach you how to use your camera in the Creative Modes – Manual, Aperture Priority, and Shutter Priority – instead of on Auto. We will also discuss tips for taking great photographs including composition. This small-group workshop goes a step beyond Intermediate Digital Photography. We will spend our time photographing out in the community. The workshop is geared towards individuals that know how to use the Manual Mode on their DSLR and are looking for more guided practice and the opportunity to receive instruction while shooting. Locations may include the St. Louis Riverfront, Forest Park, Downtown Belleville or Lebanon, IL and will be determined by the interest of the group. I am very excited to be offering a Digital Photography Class through UrBaN aRt in Collinsville this winter. The class will teach you how to use your camera in the Creative Modes – Manual, Aperture Priority, and Shutter Priority – instead of on Auto.
