I don’t think that we could have ordered more perfect weather for this session. Perfect temperature, perfect leaves, perfect light. Ooh it was fabulous. On top of the perfect weather, I got to photograph this wonderful family. They were so much fun and the beautiful sisters were adorable with each other. Yeah, it was all just perfect!

I Love A Challenge {Edwardsville, IL Photographer}

Part of the reason that I work On-Location is that I love the challenge that comes from shooting in different places all the time. What will the weather be like? Is there nice light there? What do the surroundings look like? It is kind of exciting to go some place new and then make it work to create beautiful portraits of my clients. I met this great family at SIUE. I’ve never been to the campus before, but heard it was lovely. I was thrilled when I arrived. It was just perfect!
The new location wasn’t the only challenge during this session though. Someone (and I’m not naming names) did NOT want to be photographed. I believe that he/she had full intentions of not smiling, not having fun, and not participating in the least. But in the end, we all had a great time. We all laughed and played and even smiled.

These sisters are so adorable together. Big Sister Miss O. was FABULOUS with her little sister, Miss G. I love it when siblings really enjoy each other duringmy sessions. Stars {O’Fallon IL Photographer}

Stars were all over the place at the party this promotion celebration last night. What a gorgeous night and the Piazza Garden at the Regency Conference Center in O’Fallon was the perfect location. Mary – you have an amazing talent for putting together a fabulous party. It was truly a gorgeous event filled with a beautiful family and friends from all over the country to celebrate with. The Greatest Compliment {O’Fallon IL Photographer}

I always swell with pride when my clients exclaim “This was so much fun!” at the end of their session. Beautiful, natural, and genuine portraits are definitely my style and my goal for every family. But, more than that I truly want the experience of having those portraits made to be a fond family memory.
This family gave me just that compliment at the end of our session. It really was a good time. I loved getting to know them and watching them together. They are just lovely people and all adore each other.
