What is your style?

I am a pretty relaxed person – I’m most comfortable in jeans and flip-flops and my photography style tends to be pretty relaxed too. While I pay attention to how to photograph my clients so they look their best, I won’t make you rest your hands this way or tilt your head that way. I would much rather capture your daughter’s giggle face than worry about a stray hair out of place.

What are your sessions like?

Just like my style, my sessions are relaxed too. I encourage my families to have a good time laughing and playing and work hard to be sure that everyone is having fun. My newborn sessions are guided by your baby. If he needs to eat, we take a break until he is comfortable again.

What do I do to prepare for a session?

Once you book a session with me, I will send you all kinds of information about preparing for your session. It will cover everything from choosing clothes, to preparing your kids and will get you thinking about what to do with your portraits after the session. In addition, I meet with most of my clients in person before the session. This is a great opportunity to get to know each other, talk about your ideas, and show you my beautiful albums.

Where will our session take place?

My sessions take place either on-location or in studio. An on-location session  could be at your home, in your yard, a park, or a city street. Newborn sessions take place in your home. This is where you and your baby will be most comfortable and I’m happy to bring all of my stuff to you.

Do you offer framing?

Yes! I offer framing on my regular wall prints and I also offer gallery wrapped canvas and float wraps. All of these options arrive ready to hang on your wall!

Do you sell the pictures on disk?

I do offer the images on disk; however, my clients almost always prefer to buy prints and albums.

What are your rates?

I sell prints either a la carte or as part of a Collection. Most of my clients purchase a collection. They start at $750, but the most popular one is $1350. It includes a custom 8×8 album, a handful of small sized prints and a print credit that can be used towards wall prints, table top sized prints, and more. What happens after the session? When do we get to see our images?

If you have booked a Signature Session we will set up an Ordering Appointment. This usually takes place about a week or so after the session date and can occur during the day or in the evening. The day before our appointment I will email you a password to see your gallery. Here you will find 25-30 of the best images from our session. Then, when we meet, we will review the images together and come up with a plan to create wall displays, pick gifts, and create that fabulous album you will love so much.

If you have booked a Simplicity Session you will receive an online gallery approximately one week after our session. You are welcome to review the gallery and choose images at your leisure.
