For my brother-in-law
Posted on October 29, 2008
For nearly a year now my brother-in-law has been bugging his wife to schedule a session with me. He just really wants a nice picture of his wife to carry around with him (aw so cute!). Anyway, she finally got tired of listening to him and today was the day.
Stay tuned for more from these guys – we’ll be doing maternity portraits in a few months and then a newborn session! (I am SO excited!)
Gina – you look beautiful! I just love so many shots. John – you can stop hitting refresh now.

Autumn has arrived!
Posted on October 22, 2008
The leaves are turning, the air is brisk, and rainy weather is waiting in the wings. This session was supposed to take place later this week, but we moved it up a bit in anticipation of yucky weather. I’m so glad we did! It was a lovely evening yesterday (although a tad chilly for bare feet!). I have really been looking forward to photographing this family. We had a great time running up and down one of the only hills in southern Illinois!
J – I look forward to showing you the rest! Enjoy!
How sweet are these guys?! They did this themselves – no prompting from me or mom.

My niece and nephew
Posted on October 9, 2008
Last night my niece and nephew brought their mom and dad out for some family portraits. J. and J. were very funny and we had a great time running around.
This is probably one of my favorite pictures ever of Miss J.
And Big Brother J. really wanted his picture taken with this windmill.

Giggles
Posted on October 4, 2008
This is my third time photographing this great big bunch of giggles and we had a great time. Mom did a really smart thing for this session – we did it at their house in the yard and mom spent the entire session inside. It was perfect. The little one was a bit shy in the beginning and I think if mom had been outside with me he may not have warmed up to me. I love the shot of the three of them in their front yard with the house in the background – they are so cute and how great that they will have this portrait of them all together out in front of the house where they grew up!
Enjoy!
